MFSA Website Update—The MFSA launched its updated website in conjunction with our Annual Meeting at the end of January 2019. In addition to being refreshed and more user friendly, it is designed to make it easier for users to find what they need.
Arrival Notice—Later this year the Exchange will launch an updated online Arrival Notice page for agents and vessel operators. Until then, everything remains the same. We’ll keep you informed as the date approaches. Again, our goal is to improve the function of the site for our users.
Clean Pacific 2019—During mid-June in Vancouver B.C. will include a presentation of the program of the Fire Protection Advisory Council (FPAAC). We’re excited to be able to showcase our one of a kind program. Please click here for more on Clean Pacific.
MFSA FPAAC Summit—The annual presentation on the FPAAC programs will be happening on April 10 at the Cowlitz Regional Event Center in Longview. All interested stakeholders are invited to attend. Contact cannizzaro@pdxmex.com for details.
MFSA Plan Revision 06—A plan update has been issued, adding Randy Clark (formerly of the USCG MSU Portland) to our list of Interim Spill Response Coordinators.
What’s New: MFSA Hosts Annual Meeting
The 2019 Maritime Fire & Safety Association Annual Meeting was held at the Red Lion Jantzen Beach on January 29, 2019.
The business portion of the meeting was held prior to the luncheon at which attendees elected officers, approved 2019 budgeted and voted to modify the association’s bylaws.
